GAY RIGHTS ACTIVIST, BISI ALIMI MARKS 10TH YEAR LIVING WITH HIV!

Bisi Alimi, the gay rights activist, widely acclaimed to be the first Nigerian to come out of the closet on television, on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014, marked his 10th year living with HIV.
Bisi was diagnosed in 2004; the same year he was expelled from the University of Lagos and same year he was on Funmi Iyanda's New Dawn talk show on the Nigerian Television Authority where he publicly came out before the nation and asked for acceptance from the public.
While marking the day, Bisi also remembered his best friend, Ibrahim who died of the disease in 2002.
