Man In His Boxers Wreaks Havoc On Motorway

 A man has been arrested after wandering on the M8 motorway wearing nothing but boxer shorts.

The man, whose identity is unknown, was seen on the road in North Lanarkshire, on the eastbound carriageway at junction five, near Shotts in Scotland, this morning.

There were long delays as traffic in both directions slowed to avoid hitting the man, who walked up and down in his tartan boxer shorts and at one point lay on the bonnet of a car.

Emergency services were called at about 6.55am and the man was taken to hospital.

He is believed to need treatment for a head injury.
