South Africa: DJ Black Coffee Extorted Over Alleged Sex-Tape

The woman who was arrested for allegedly trying to extort R100,000 from DJ Black Coffee with a clip showing him having sex with a fan, was granted bail.

According to City Press, the fan, who allegedly was having sex with DJ Black Coffee, had left her cellphone with a woman, believed to be a friend, to go to the bathroom. During this time, the friend downloaded a clip of her friend and DJ Black Coffee having sex. She also retrieved Black Coffee's number from the phone.
"She called Black Coffee and asked for R100 000. Black Coffee told her he could only pay her R20 000. She agreed to meet Black Coffee's manager (Fakazi Muziwenkosi) and was told to bring the sex tape with her in exchange for the money. We arrested her after she took the money for extortion," said Paul Ramaloko, spokesperson of The Hawks (South Africa's new Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation).
Black Coffee, married to Rockville actress Mbali Mlotshwa, had his manager Fakazi Muziwenkosi report the attempted extortion.
