Condom-Made Clothes Now In Vogue(photos)

Innovations, they say, have no bounds and limits when it comes to what to wear and how good you want to be looking. This is the case of the designer who thinks of making dresses out of condoms.
Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini makes dresses entirely out of condoms for a project called Condom Couture
Adriana Bertini got popular just recently and had many of her colleagues in the fashion industry envy her because of her new invention of making clothes from condoms. Launching her new sets of fashion statements made of unused condoms at the International Aids conference in Melbourne, the Brazilian fashion designer revealed that with the condoms-made attires, the wearer does not need to worry about holding a purse when there is an outing.

The designer hopes her dresses can inspire social change and challenge taboos related to AIDS
The fashionista, who is a great fan of talking to young people about sex, also revealed that the one do not need to bother running across the streets looking for condoms when it is needed.
Ms Bertini runs workshops for students in Brazil to show them exactly how to cut, dye and sew the latex products into dresses to get people talking about how condoms can help prevent HIV/AIDS

The designer who has seen better days already because of her new out-of-the-world idea is an activist who sings the safe sex chant at every opportunity she has. Bertini however in an interview has debunked the widely spread assertion that her new idea is a trend. Claiming it is more that a fashion fad, she said: "Personally, I think the idea is amusing but that’s as far as it goes, it’s not a fashion statement, nope, once you remember what the ‘clothes’ are made of, your brain can’t help but register it as gross”.
