Abuja — A High Court in Jos has quashed an order restraining the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) from office after sitting late Wednesday.
As a result, FIFA are now expected to overturn its ban on Nigeria immediate.
The NFF executive committee led by president Aminu Maigari is expected to return to office to fulfil FIFA's conditions to lift a ban it imposed on the country last week.
It would be recalled that FIFA suspended Nigeria from all football activities after accusing her of government's interference in football administration which resulted in the removal of Aminu Maigari-led executive committee.
According to AfricanFootball.com, the NFF Secretary-General, Musa Amadu has subsequently communicated FIFA of these developments.
FIFA had given Nigeria until Thursday to comply with its directives to vacate the court case and reinstate the NFF executive committee.
When FIFA eventually lift the ban on Thursday, Nigeria will feature at the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Canada coming up next month.
Also, the country's U17 male team, will be allowed to travel to DR Congo for their final round first leg qualifier for African Junior Championship in Kinshasa.
