The Quirky New Exhibition At New York’s Museum Of Sex
The Museum of Sex in New York has a new exhibition that might leave some a little red-faced… but what else would you expect from a museum all about sex?!
Funland: Pleasures & Perils of the Erotic Fairground is based on popular fairground attractions, with an erotic twist of course, and visitors can take part in five experiences that each stimulate the senses in different ways.
First up is a mirror maze called the Tunnel of Love, where edible treats are served and which ends with a representation of the “G-spot”.
MoSEX
The boob jumping castle, Jump for Joy, follows and is limited to six participants at a time… big kids jumping on giant breasts can get crazy!
The Foreplay Derby, an aptly titled ball-toss carnival game, is next, followed by an old-school movie reel of carnival visitors playing high jinks.
Visitors then arrive at the final activity, Grope Mountain, a climbing wall with handholds in the shape of body parts. Climbers aren’t necessarily selective about what they grab onto, as long as they don’t fall, which makes for a pretty hilarious experience for bystanders.
The exhibition’s creators, British conceptual artists Sam Bompas and Harry Parr, say it’s more about fun than shock value
