The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Ekiti State, Alhaji Halilu Pai, has disclosed that no fewer than a total of 7,941 ad hoc staff members have been engaged by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the June 21 governorship election in the state.
Pai while briefing the media on the preparations of the commission for the election in Ado-Ekiti Saturday, said bulk of the ad hoc staff members were National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, while the rest were students of federal tertiary institutions.
