The office of the presidency says President Jacob Zuma will be back at work from next week after taking a week off to rest at his Nkandla home in KwaZulu-Natal.

He was admitted to hospital a week ago.

Zuma was then discharged shortly after.

He however continued to work from home.

Presidency spokesperson, Mac Maharaj said, “President Jacob Zuma will resume public activities next week after resting for a full week to recover from the demanding schedule.

“The president has been working from home and his first public engagement will be the State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Tuesday, 17 June.”
